Welcome to our first SCM 1000 update for 2021!

As we close out this year with family and friends as best we can, we continue to move forward with our plans for 2021 – hopefully with the pandemic moving further away in our rear view mirror.

Entrants and Vehicles

Entrants have all been notified of their acceptance into the SCM 1000 Tour for 2021. What an amazing assortment of vehicles from Bentley, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, MG, Morgan, and other marques. The palette of colors will be gorgeous as we drive through the most scenic areas of Oregon. Among the stops: Mt. Bachelor, where get a chairlift ride to the top, and Crater Lake, one of the most beautiful National Parks. You’ll want your classic car in top condition.

Winter Work

Hopefully your cars are already fettled and ready for the spring. For those of you in repair or restoration mode, well, it’s time to get busy! We’ll be driving an average of 250 miles per day for four days.

Food and Lodging

The Doubletree by Hilton is excited to host us and you’ll be pleased with all of their efforts to keep you safe. The restaurant scene in Bend has been through a rough year, but because of its vibrant and eclectic nature, we are confident you’ll still be treated to some outstanding dinners. We will be using a Dine Around format, which will include multiple establishments within walking distance of the hotel.

Coronavirus Concerns

We do not anticipate any changes to the SCM 1000 based on the coronavirus at this time. We recognize that the situation is evolving daily and we’re paying close attention. This far out from the event, we’re still in a wait and see mode. We will make changes with as much advance notice to participants as possible, as the need arises. Updates will be sent to registered participants via email and posted to www.SCM1000.com.

We look forward to sharing the best roads in Oregon with you in July!
